The Uncanny Gaze
My exhibition “The Uncanny Gaze” highlights the camera's magical qualities and its inherent power. This project explores the worlds beyond the frame—worlds that continue in the hidden, operating beneath the surface of what we can see. Secrets and dangers lurk in the corners of our perception, affecting the subjects we portray, yet remaining beyond our grasp due to the limitations of the frame. Whose gaze is reflected in their expressions? Whose story is being told? Who walks in the shadows?
